Chara ran away when reaching adulthood and joined a group of mercenaries who fought against the beasts of the world. This group was supported by some of the blue hat wizards. Once joining this group Hydromancer Soran of the Psychic Leap #5564 enchanted the rune of lime which is tattooed on her right wrist. This allows Chara to summon her stratiotai spear on command. When summoned the spear glows. Chara’s group is called the Moon Walkers because they can only be seen at night during a full moon when wearing surd armor. This armor has been enchanted. This extremely lightweight armor allows the Moon Walkers to be invisible except during a full moon.

Warrior Kathleen convinced her to leave the moon walkers and join her and the Jadeites. The Jadeites fight against the poachers in the Emerald Forest to protect all animals and plants from being taken. This has caused a rift between wizard Soran and warrior Kathleen. Kathleen’s aunt Nurgada is Soran’s sister.

Chara has a new tattoo on her left arm and has taken the sacred Brown Hat oath to protect the woodlands in the Emerald Forest. Another specialty of Chara’s is the ability to sense when something good or evil is about to happen. When she talks people should listen.
