The healers consist of at least one fairy from each family. Before being allowed to join a fairy needs to be an expert of the knowledge and skills their family has mastered. It is a life position that no one has ever left. They often say, “In a circle we have strength.”
If they use their magic to heal you they expect a favor in return. Many owe them favors that can be called upon at any time. You never want to make a healer angry.

Only a few have been lucky enough to see the musicians of the Emerald Forest play their instruments to calm or give joy.
On the east side of the forest these fairies sing the giant sloths to sleep and calm the chameleon snakes. The midnight spiders use their music as a celebration when their babies are hatched. These tiny little spiders take flight to the beat of the music.
On the west side of the Iota Path the songs allow the crystal moss to sway and add to the music like chimes.
Along the Chunky River the Almanac plant is celebrated on the first day of each month by a special ballad. These songs explain the new color and scent of the plant. The musician fairies are called upon often by different animal species to play at their celebrations.
The musician group is made up of at least one fairy from each of the woodland families. They are known for saying, “one makes a sound, from many there is joy.” Their music cannot be remembered by wizards, warriors, or others even if you sang along until the last note was played.
Many travelers have enjoyed listening to their music as they have traveled through the forest. Some have even tried to find them but it is nearly impossible.
The only person who can find them is warrior Kathleen. She has a special bond with this group because they played for her while she recovered from her wounds inflicted by the Nightmare Imp.
