Tisa Slasher of Torment Manor (#968)

Owner: 0xa278…3Cb0

Her Lord Returns

A river flows east with source unknown. The estuary below pours into a dark bay seldom visited by any thoughtful creature. Claws of large spires clutch the mountainside. This place hadn’t seen a beautiful day in a century. Tisa's tortuous journey was nearing its end. She finally had gained sight of The Manor. Torment Manor. Her exhaustion was quelled by the cool mist from The Bloodfalls above. She had just spent years of her life deep within The Sand, retrieving artifacts for her unholy master’s summoning. Each was a vital element demanded of her for the dark ritual.

On her journey, she visited many bustling cities across the western Pangaea. She traveled under the guise of mercantilism. Relics of yore demand a high premium in trade markets. Her inventory of assets found amongst The Sand brought much interest from collectors with deep pockets. When they would least expect it, she swindled them heartlessly. As a Peahen Warrior, deceit came naturally. Beauty often clouds the judgment of men, especially when it matters most. Beauty combined with treasure has a multiplicative effect. Even though Tisa left the ranks of her Peahen Clan as a youngling, their teachings remained a core part of her being. She indeed still wore her feather, which garnered respect from those who recognized its significance.

Her travels were nearly complete. She was just steps away from reuniting with her home after all these years of travel. Tisa knew that in order to live in The Manor upon return, it was necessary to clean up the mess of creatures that stirred there in her absence. They grew like competing weeds in a wild garden left untamed. Some call them demons. They are unruly. Disharmony between their factions causes constant conflict. Tisa put them into check by asserting dominance over them with word and sword.

Once the Manor was under control again, the ritual could begin as outlined by the voices in her head. She would create a summoning circle unholy enough for her controller to physically return back from the ethereal realm. Tisa was no practitioner of magic, but could easily follow the instructions these voices put forth. Obtaining the ritual ingredients in the first place had been the difficult part. She would now summon what was literally a conscious Soul #169. How such a horror came to exist in the first place, she did not know. She just knew it had been banished from the earthly realm once before. It was now time to reverse that.

Her mind enforced chaotic actions. Perhaps, in her life, she had been wronged, corrupted, or cursed. It didn’t matter, because The Quantum Shadow flowed through her veins now. At this point only a hue master of the highest order would be able to fully reverse such a condition; an unlikely potentiality. Once Tisa performed the ritual, she exhausted her immediate use and the voices went quiet. The summoning portal slowly widened for the forgotten soul to arrive from the ethereael realm. She gazed into the distance. There atop the ancient masonry, for a brief moment, fantasies of simpler times crossed into her mind…
