Heavy Magic: The Strongest Wizard in the Runiverse

Amir dropped the bar as he finished his deadlift set with a smash as it clattered on the tower floor. The plates gleamed dully in the rays of dawn peaking through the open window. The barbell was a combination of the dense, gravity defying black minerals used in his wizard tower, and a titanium frame to keep them in place. Its precise weight having never been measured as anyone curious has never been able to lift the plates to measure them.

Finishing his daily workout to start off his morning, Amir took a quick break after his final set and then set of to his study to start his daily scrying.

Though the world is filled with with warriors of tremendous strength and physical ability, no wizard has ever been seen to have bested Amir in physical strength, making him known by many as the strongest wizard in the Runiverse.

Amir needs this strength only to hold the impossibly heavy crystal ball caked in a black stone crust that lay before him in his scrying room.

He cracks off the small black chips developing like condensation on the bottom of the ball from being left out overnight. Holding it up, and palming it in his right hand with some effort, just the same way he has done since he was a child as he shifts his gaze deep into the center.

If one looks closely at the crystal ball, a slight warping of space and light seems to occur just around the edge of the orb, like a funhouse mirror condensed into a centimeter outline on its perimeter.

Amir has never let anyone else try to lift it, but by sheer atomic density or some sort of magic curse, it may just be the densest object in the Runiverse.
