On the east side of Rabbit Lake there is a small swamp that sits in a low lying area of the Two Way River. This is home to swamp witch Keziah and her green asp named Sweetie.

It is not a very big swamp but has the most delightful algae and slimy plants that grow there. Nothing makes Keziah smile more than when her home is slimy and smells of rotting plants. There are many beautiful flowers that grow in the swamp like the water lilies, water irises, and marsh marigolds.

When the Two Way River flows south and the swamp begins to dry out Keziah has Sweetie go find purple hat wizard Zane to change the direction of the river. Keziah is unable to get close enough to the river to perform this magic due to a curse put on her many years ago by soul Lucinda. She must always stay in the swamp.

Zane uses his magic from the cosmos to switch the direction of the river and the water level of the swamp rises.

Keziah always flirts with Zane but he never responds and only takes payment with a bundle of mandrake plants. Then Zane goes back to his home in the Emerald Forest to be left alone. He finds soul Lucinda and witch Keziah annoying. They both like him.
