Blitz’s story-

“You have changed. I love you!” said the rat.

“I know, but I am sorry for all the nasty things I did years ago when I first joined the Order of the Dark Sisters. I am sorry I used the power of the blue moon to turn your skin and fur a different color?” Sonja cried while leaning down and petting his head. “I didn’t think that spell would last forever.”

“I forgave you a long time ago. Besides I think I look charming,” said Blitz as he twitched his whiskers and smiled up at her. “The ladies like it too. Plus, my blue skin has saved me several times with it being toxic to other animals.”

“Do you miss the Chunky River and the Emerald Forest?” she asked. “I took you away from your home. That makes me a poacher.”

“Honestly I like being with you more. I know I could leave at any time but I choose to stay here. You let me come and go as I please. I have many friends. I do worry about you. You need to get out of here. The Order of the Dark Sisters is for mean people…evil people and you are absolutely not one of them. I would follow you anywhere.”

“I can’t leave unless I find a way to break the curse on this bracelet.”

“Please go and find Enchanter Daphne in the Emerald Forest. I believe she can help you.”

“I don't know? I don’t think the Order will let me run off into the woods unless I have a good reason,” she answered lowering her head.

“Can I lay by your shoulder tonight while we sleep?

“Yes, come over here my dear.”

The rat scurried over but instead of laying down he whispered something in Sonja’s ear. Then cuddled while his owner stared up at the moon. Tears flowed down her face.
