The screech coming from the bushes by the livery stables made Goober run over. He found a cat with a baby rabbit in its mouth. “You frickin awful nasty animal!” yelled Goober. The cat dropped the baby and ran. Goober picked it up and cuddled it. “It’s okay little buddy. I will take care of you. The rabbit closed its eyes and relaxed. He took the rabbit home and cared for it while continuing to call it Buddy. Over time the rabbit's name was shortened to B.

When B got older people in the town called him “The Broker” because he fixed each disaster Goober got into. B’s charms and adorable personality make people forgive Goober.

Last week The Broker told Morana, who owns the trading post in town, how much her emerald ring matches her green eyes. Smiling, she said that it didn’t cause too much trouble to clean up the boxes of seeds Goober knocked over.

Goober is known for mixing things up, breaking things, or causing random chaos. He is also known to say inappropriate things while not understanding what he says might be rude. The Broker makes each situation better.
